The Red Carpet Look

At the beginning of the week the fashion world witnessed some amazing red carpet dresses at the Emmys, our favourite dress was custom Reem Acra and seen on Zooey Deschanel. Open House London

This weekend, across London doors were opened. Open House London is a great festival held every year, in which some great hidden architecture is open to the public. There is a diverse range of places to visit. On our list this Saturday was the Freemason's Hall in Holborn, the bell tower of a small church in Bethnal Green, the exhibition space in a small fabric shop on Broadway Market and the roof of popular gig venue Village Underground in Shoreditch. The best thing is, it was all free and there were plenty of photo opportunities.

LFW TAKEOVER - Day 5

Todays online highlight was by far, the Mulberry Poodle. We were not concentrating on the model but the friend she brought along. Dressed in a matching outfit the Mulberry Poodle almost stole the show on the final day of LFW 2012. The collection itself created by Emma Hill was engulfed by Springs pastel colours and gecko motifs. This was also one of the most start studded shows of the week with the likes of Kate Moss, Alexa Chung, Lana Del Rey and Olivia Palermo on the front row.

LFW TAKEOVER - Day 4

Because most of us have been at work today and haven't had the time to catch a show, here is the rose tinted round up of what you have missed during day 4 on the catwalk.
The most talked about show of the day was of course Burberry Prorsum. The collection was so very British and polished, but a lot brighter and a lot more glamorous than your usual Burberry collection. Creative Director Christopher Bailey commented that he intended the collection to be 'more joyful'

As we enjoy the Paralympic closing ceremony, we are feeling extremely lucky to have attended events throughout London 2012 but also extremely sad that it is all over. We have so many memories from the last few months - what an amazing summer!

This September London is playing host to the mass pop-up  picnic - Le Diner en Blanc. The idea is that guests bring everything they need for a chic picnic, dress entirely in white and remove everything when the festivities are over. Simply Sweden

Since being in Stockholm, one thing I have noticed is style. You will find it hard to walk around the city and spot somebody who doesn't look chic and stylish. The key to the Swedish sense of style is simplicity. They love the strong sharp lines and they love black. I have tracked down what I think are 3 of the top clothing brands in the city for Rose Tinted's top three picks.

Weekday is clearly one of the top Swedish brands and they epitomize simple style. I love this knitted sweater.

Flippa K is a great Swedish brand, very up and coming here in Stockholm. I am a big fan of this boyfriend blazer.

Bik Bok is a Norwegian brand but extremely popular here in Sweden and reticent of the simple style . This is a great oversized asymmetric blouse.
